Waterloo is a city in the Canadian region of Ontario. It is one of three urban communities in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo (once in the past Waterloo County). Waterloo is arranged roughly 94 km (58 mi) south west of Toronto. Because of the closeness of the city of Kitchener to Waterloo, the two together are frequently alluded to as "Kitchener–Waterloo" or the "Twin Cities".
