Sorel-Tracy is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada and the geological end purpose of the Champlain Valley at the intersection of the Richelieu River and the St. Lawrence River, on the western edge of Lac Saint-Pierre downstream and east of close by Montreal. The populace as of the Canada 2011 Census was 34,600. Its city hall leader is Serge Péloquin and it is the seat of the Pierre-De Saurel Regional County Municipality and the legal region of Richelieu.
